Hosts Zac & Ian are best friends who bleed Verde & Black. Zac was born and raised in Austin, TX while Ian was born in Albany, NY. The two met playing college basketball at St. Edward’s University in South Austin in 2010 and have been running their mouths together ever since.
When Austin FC was unveiled in 2018, the pair decided that they would do everything in their power to become season ticket holders for Austin’s first professional sports franchise. They lucked out as some of the last fans in a league-record setting line to select their seats at Q2 Stadium. After a year and a half of hardcore fandom, the boys decided to start recording their conversations about the Verde & Black in early August 2022. Now, Zac and Ian provide year-round insight into Austin FC from their perch in Section 123, releasing episodes twice a week in-season and once a week in the offseason.
As a listener, you’ll get coverage on everything related to Austin FC, including game recaps from every first team and Austin FC II match, injury reports, transfer news, rumors, deep dives on MLS salary cap rules and more. You’ll also be treated to some guest appearances and interviews throughout each season. Some of the guests to appear on the podcast in the last year include MLS insider Tom Bogert, former MLS midfielder and current CBS Sports analyst Michael Lahoud, GA Cup winning Austin FC Academy coach Ale Olivares and Austin FC starting goalkeeper Brad Stuver!

Zac Graham
Zac is currently the Head of Basketball Content at FTN Network. Prior to his work at FTN, Zac spent nine years as a collegiate basketball coach in the Central Texas area at St. Edward’s University in Austin and Southwestern University in Georgetown.
A lifelong Austinite and sports fanatic yearning for a team in his hometown, Austin FC brought a unique type of passion, pride and fulfillment to his fandom. Zac loves the connections formed and community that has blossomed around his Austin FC fandom and plans on holding his spot at Q2 Stadium for life.

Ian Michaud
Ian was born and raised in Valatie, NY, outside of Albany, NY. Ian’s introduction to Austin and his good buddy Zac came while attending St. Edward’s University.
According to Ian, sharing nights at the Q with the Verde supporters may just be the best thing to do in Austin and cheering on the team with his fellow VHLM family means the world to him.
