Week 14 MLS Picks
The midweek picks were a little bittersweet. We ended the drought on the pick’em side of things to bring our results back into the black, but slipped up at the books for a minor loss. With both the pick’em and sportsbook results now in the positive, we’re ready for another go on the weekend.
The official league injury report for Saturday’s games came out Friday afternoon, let’s dive into the Week 14 picks.
Pick’Em Entry of the week
Each match week, we’ll have a pick’em entry for you to tail if your heart desires. This week we’re playing on Underdog Fantasy. If you want to play along with us at Underdog, you can sign up today using this link. Let’s get to the board and build a winner!
Alright! Back in the black for our 2026 pick’em entries. Not by much, but we’ll take it, and begin the weekend entry with Toronto FC once again. They’re on the road to take on Charlotte FC on Saturday and still have a massive list of players ruled out, with 12 absences (including both of their DPs) and another player (centerback Zane Monlouis) questionable. Getting Luka Gavran’s goals allowed prop at a 0.87x multiplier feels great in this spot. Charlotte have been a strong home side for a while now. In fact, they were tied with Supporter’s Shield winning Philadelphia Union as the league’s best home side in 2025. With Charlotte FC sporting a near clean injury report (just Henry Toffolo is listed) and -175 to score two or more goals at the books, we’ll back them to do so.
Then we go to Houston where the Dynamo are hosting the Vancouver Whitecaps. Jonathan Bond has been one of the worst goal keepers in the league this year in terms of his shot stopping metrics. In fact, he’s last in MLS in goals prevented, allowing 6.3 more goals than expected through 12 matches. Vancouver on the other hand have scored two or more goals in eight of their 12 league games this season and are averaging 2.5 goals per game. They should welcome back Thomas Muller tonight, who has missed the last two games due to illness but trained on Friday and is not listed on the injury report. Even at 0.89x, we like this as a top option on the board this matchday.
Closing it out by, unfortunately, believing in FC Dallas to put in a solid performance tonight. They’re on the road to take on first place San Jose Earthquakes, who are without both Timo Werner and Niko Tsakiris once again. Michael Collodi has taken a dip in form over the first third of the season after closing 2025 on a strong note. But he’s been strong on the road in a small sample size, allowing two or more goals in just one of the team’s four road games this season and three total goals in that span. At 1.17x, we like Frisco’s chances of keeping the Quakes at bay without their top two chance creating options.
Using the standard payout selection (and the 30% profit boost token dropped in users accounts on this week) on Underdog, this 3-pick entry will payout a prize of 7.34x your entry fee if successful.
We’ve added some additional plays that can be substituted in place of the props given above if you miss lock for one of those games, want to make additional entries or one of the given options doesn’t start. Patreon members can feel free to reach out and discuss picks in the Discord. As always, the additional plays are listed in order of preference and we’re fine using these props in any entry.
James Pantemis O 2.5 goals allowed (0.87x)
Gabriel Pec O 3.5 shots attempted (0.99x)
Dayne St. Clair O 1.5 goals allowed (1.29x)

Week 14 Picks
Charlotte FC
ML -130
We’ve already made the case in our pick’em entry for why Charlotte are a strong option tonight. One of the best home sides in MLS over the last year and a half is hosting a team that’s missing more than a starting XI worth of players. Charlotte to take all three points in their house.
Austin FC
-1.5 (+145)
Under Nico Estévez, Austin FC has only won by multiple goals in five of 47 regular season fixtures. However, the Verde & Black are coming off back-to-back 2-0 clean sheet victories at home over Houston Dynamo and St. Louis City SC. Now they get Sporting KC at Q2 Stadium this Saturday, a team that is decidedly worst in MLS at present, despite their midweek win over LA Galaxy. Through 13 games, SKC has a -22 goal differential and of their eight losses, seven of them have come by two goals or more. ATX rotated heavily in the midweek and got their asses beat by San Diego FC. They’ll be fresh and ready to go on Saturday night, we’ll take them to win by multiple goals at plus money.
San Diego FC vs FC Cincinnati
O 3.5 -110
Taking the over in FC Cincinnati games has done as well of late, so as they travel to the West Coast to take on San Diego FC on Saturday night, we’re going right back to it. Knifey Lions matches are averaging 4.54 goals per contest in 2026 and San Diego have been involved in some barn burners as well so far, with six of their matches seeing four or more total goals. We’re backing another shootout type game here and taking the over on the total at near plus money.
