Week 27 MLS picks
Shout out to Cavan Sullivan, whose pair of goal contributions against San Diego FC on Sunday evening turned what was shaping up to be a poor result for us into a notable profit. We accept all profits here in The North End, so we press on towards another full weekend of MLS action.
The official league injury report for Saturday’s games came out Friday afternoon, let’s dive into the Week 27 picks.
Pick’Em Entry of the week

Three straight misses with the pick’em entries have us up against it! We’re going back to a two-pick play on Saturday night, starting with Santi Rodriguez and his fantasy score prop. In his more than 8,800 career MLS minutes, Rodriguez averages 0.47 goal contributions per 90. He’s playing a central role in his new digs with Columbus and this line is too low for that role, especially against a depleted CF Montreal.
Then we pair that with the over 2.5 in Orlando City SC vs New England Revolution. This is a massively mispriced prop (over 2.5 is -275 on DK Sportsbook for instance) on PrizePicks this weekend and one we’re going to throw in some of our personal NFL entries for Sunday.

Week 27 Picks
Nashville SC O 1.5 + HOU/CIN O 2.5
Parlay +142
We’ve been digging the parlays of late, so we’re starting off the picks with another. Starting with the Supporter’s Shield leading Nashville SC, who are at home hosting the Chicago Fire. Not only is Nashville averaging two goals per game through 25 league matches in 2026, they’re posting three goals per game at home across their 12 matches at GEODIS Park. They’ve scored two or more goals in 10 of their 12 home games this season, so we’ll take them to do so again in this spot.
Then we are going to pair it with the over 2.5 goals in, you guessed it, the FC Cincinnati match. The Knifey Lions are in Texas this weekend to take on the Houston Dynamo. Cincy games have still not slowed down from their typical torrid pace, averaging 4.63 total goals per match and over this number in 17 of 24 games this season. Houston isn’t a high scoring team, but Cincinnati matches have seen the most goals this season of any team and it’s not close. Pairing these two together gets us the first of two plus-money parlays.
Vancouver Whitecaps

The Whitecaps are in a rut at the moment. They sandwiched a 3-0 victory over LA Galaxy on September 9th with home losses to St. Louis City SC and Austin FC, before crashing out of the Canadian Championship in the semi finals against CF Montreal on Wednesday. But they’re in a “get right” spot on Saturday night. Even in the elevation of Salt Lake City, the Whitecaps are favorites, not just because they’re the more talented team, but RSL are in awful form and their best players are dropping like flies. Zavier Gozo and Victor Olatunji departed during the summer transfer window and now Diego Luna is expected to miss the rest of this season with a knee injury, joining Justen Glad on the shelf. They’ve also got seven other players listed as out and a pair of questionable tags on the injury report. They have only earned three points from their ten league matches since the return from the World Cup break and we’ll take Vancouver to come away with all three in this one.
Philadelphia Union to Win + Inter Miami To Win
Parlay +132
Very simple case for this plus-money parlay. First leg is the Philadelphia Union, one of the hottest teams in MLS coming out of the World Cup break, with eight wins and two draws from their ten league games since. They’re on the road taking on Wooden Spoon favorites Sporting KC on Saturday night and even though SKC shocked LAFC last weekend (cooking our two-unit parlay), we’re not translating that into a turnaround in form, as Sporting has just seven points from their last 11 league games.
Pairing Philly to win with Inter Miami to do the same. Lionel Messi and Co. are home this weekend, hosting San Diego FC on Sunday Night Soccer. They’re not in the best form, coming into this one on three straight draws, certainly below the standard this team is held to. But San Diego is on a three game losing streak and have been horrible away from home this season. SDFC has just nine points in their 11 road matches in 2026, scoring just ten goals in that sample. Their two road wins were both 1-0 results, against SKC on March 7 and LAFC on August 15. We’re riding with Inter Miami to win at home.
