Week 30 MLS picks
We were able to stop the bleeding over the weekend and pick up a unit and some change at the books. Quick turnaround to a full midweek slate of games in MLS on Wednesday night.
The official league injury report for Saturday’s games came out Friday afternoon, let’s dive into the Week 30 picks.
Pick’Em Entry of the week
Unfortunately, Underdog Fantasy has decided to exit the MLS prop pick’em market at this time. So we’re going to pick things back up on PrizePicks for the time being. If you want to play along with us, you can sign up for PrizePicks through this link.
Make that six straight pick’em misses after a first half red card for Djé D’Avilla cut Philip Zinckernagel’s day short against NYCFC. He was on pace to go well over his number on Saturday if he had played the full 90 so we’re going back to him here at home against the scorching hot Philadelphia Union. Similar thinking as we had on Saturday with how involved he’s been for the Fire in 2026. Then we’ll pair him with Colorado’s Paxten Aaronson, who has been on a bit of a heater himself. He’s just north of 0.6 goal contributions per 90 minutes this season and leads the team in shot attempts and crosses, and has averaged 20.9 fantasy points per game across his last five appearances.
Using the standard payout selection on PrizePicks and the 40% profit boost token dropped in user’s accounts on Wednesday, this two-pick entry will payout a prize of 3.8x your entry fee if successful.

Week 30 Picks
Nashville SC To Win + LAFC To Win (2U)
ML -125
Starting things off at the books with a favorites parlay, combining two of Austin FC’s opponents this week. First up, the Supporters’ Shield leaders, who are back home to host wooden spoon favorites Sporting KC. Coming off of their 4-1 win over Austin, Nashville SC are the largest favorites on the slate. Unsurprsingly, SKC are one of the worst road teams in MLS this season, with nine points from their 13 away games. Nashville on the other hand is by far the best home side in the league, with 40 points from their 14 fixtures (which is 13 wins and one draw).
Then we’ll head to the West Coast where the aforementioned Austin FC is taking on LAFC. The Black and Gold are winless in their last four but as we saw on Saturday against Nashville, there’s hardly a better “get right” spot than a date with ATX right now. LAFC have won five of the eight all-time meetings between these two clubs at BMO Stadium with a 14-4 aggregate scoreline, while Austin has the second worst xG differential in MLS since the World Cup break per American Soccer Analysis. Pairing these two gives us a palatable number and we’re going to put two units on this midweek parlay.
Colorado Rapids
ML -125
Then we’ll head to the Rocky Mountains where the Rapids will host Minnesota United. Somehow, the Loons are below Austin FC in the Western Conference table, highlighting how much of a struggle their second half of the season has been. In fact, Minnesota has won just once in their last 17 league games dating back to May 10th. They’ve also only won once in ten tries at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park. We’ll take the ‘Pids to get all three points in the elevation of Commerce City.
San Diego FC
ML +100
Last week we talked at length about the over performance of both Austin FC and Nashville SC in the FotMob expected goals table, as the two teams with the most positive results over expectation in 2026. But after last weekend’s matchday, the Houston Dynamo are now tied with Austin FC as the second most over performing team relative to expectation. The Orange team is currently fifth in the west, but their underlying numbers say they should be 12th. Now, San Diego FC’s outlook isn’t that much rosier, but they’re the more desperate team in this situation. They’ve got a clean bill of health while the Dynamo could be without starting goalkeeper Jonathan Bond, who left Saturday’s draw against Minnesota with a back issue and is listed as questionable. A Bond absence would mean Blake Gillingham in net, and that’s a situation we want to target. We’ll back Anders Dreyer and Co. to get all three points at home here to close out our midweek matchday.
