Week 31 MLS picks

Uh oh. We’ve officially slid into the red for the first time since Week 9 of the 2026 season and we’ve only got five match days left to turn things around.

The official league injury report for Saturday’s games came out Friday afternoon, let’s dive into the Week 31 picks.

Pick’Em Entry of the week

Unfortunately, Underdog Fantasy has decided to exit the MLS prop pick’em market at this time. So we’re going to pick things back up on PrizePicks for the time being. If you want to play along with us, you can sign up for PrizePicks through this link.

Going with a three-pick play for our Saturday and for the first time since prior to the World Cup break we’ve got an Austin-heavy entry. We’ll start with Brad Stuver, who has been under seige even more than normal over the last month. Austin just allowed record levels of expected goals across their last two matches and now face the Whitecaps. Stuver has scored 11 or more fantasy points in each of his last five games, which is impressive considering how many goals Austin are conceding. Then we stay with the Verde and Black and attack Facundo Torres crosses prop. Torres has averaged 5.7 crosses per 90 this season and been at or over this number in three straight games as Austin struggles to come back late on against superior opponents. Finally, we finish with last year’s MVP runner-up in Anders Dreyer. San Diego takes on LA Galaxy tonight and Dreyer has averaged 3.16 shot attempts per 90 this season and 3.12 across his more than 5,400 MLS minutes.

Using the standard payout selection on PrizePicks this three-pick entry will payout a prize of 6x your entry fee if successful.

Week 31 Picks

INter Miami

ML -110

The theme this week will be “back to the basics” and our first stop will be in Atlanta, where the Five Stripes play host to Inter Miami. While Nashville has likely locked up the top seed in the Eastern Conference, Miami is still playing for playoff positioning and have just a three point lead over New England for the two seed. Here they get a chance on the road against the 28th ranked team in the Supporters’ Shield standings to earn three points and we’re excited at the chance to back Lionel Messi and Co. once again for near even money.

LAFC

ML +140

The Black and Gold took advantage of a Brad Stuver blunder on Wednesday to defeat Austin FC 3-1. Now LAFC heads cross-country for a clash against NYCFC, who have been in poor form since the return from the World Cup break. The Pigeons have been one of the worst home sides in MLS this season, earning just 16 points from their 14 matches. They have won just one league game since July 25th and that was against a depleted RSL team on September 12th. With Son and Bouanga finding their form and LAFC’s summer acquisitions settling in, we’ll take the Black and Gold to steal all three points in the Big Apple on Saturday.

Nashville SC

ML -110

Nashville SC is on pace to break the all-time MLS points record and appear to be heartily chasing that mark, even as they’re likely safe atop both the Eastern Conference and Supporters’ Shield tables. They’re out on the West Coast tonight to take on San Jose Earthquakes. Even if we see the visitors rotate to begin this match, they’re clearly the best team in MLS at present and we’re going to take every chance possible to back them near even money the rest of the way.
