Week 32 MLS picks

Things did not get better for us last weekend, as a few more units bled out of the North End coffers. We’re still well within range of a profitable season with four match days remaining, so we press on!

The official league injury report for Saturday’s games came out Friday afternoon, let’s dive into the Week 32 picks.

Pick’Em Entry of the week

Unfortunately, Underdog Fantasy has decided to exit the MLS prop pick’em market at this time. So we’re going to pick things back up on PrizePicks for the time being. If you want to play along with us, you can sign up for PrizePicks through this link.

Very simple process here attacking two offensive hubs for playoff level squads out in the Eastern Conference. The presence of Antoine Griezmann has been a boost to Martin Ojeda since his return from injury, opening more space in the attack for Orlando City’s captain. He’s been over this number in five straight. Then we go to Chicago’s Philip Zinckernagel, who has had an up and down fantasy season after exploding onto the MLS scene last season. He’s got a strong matchup against 14th place Atlanta United in a spot where the Fire need three points if they’re going to stay attached to the dream of a second-seeded finish in the Eastern Conference.

Using the standard payout selection on PrizePicks this two-pick entry will payout a prize of 3x your entry fee if successful.

Week 32 Picks

INter Miami

ML -115

We’re going right back to Messi and Co. this weekend as they travel to New Jersey to take on the Red Bulls. The home side has been one of the worst when playing in their own building this season. For reference, they have 18 points from 15 home matches, an identical record to Austin FC. On the flip side, Inter Miami has been the best road side in MLS this year, earning 30 points from their 15 away games. Miami is simply the more talented team and are looking to secure the second seed in the Eastern Conference this week, we’ll back them to pick up three points here.

Nashville SC to WIn + LAFC To Win

ML +127

Moving on to our favorites parlay of the week, and beginning with Nashville in the early game on Saturday. They can clinch the Supporters’ Shield with a result today at CF Montreal, who are still without leading scorer Prince Owusu. Nashville have nearly triple the points that Montreal do and could potentially get there by season’s end in two weeks. We’ll back them to take care of business in this spot.

Then we’ll head to Sunday’s marquee matchup between LAFC and LA Galaxy. This edition of El Trafico features just a six point gap between the two clubs in the Western Conference table, but the home side is not only the more talented team, they’re also more desperate for points to chase down a top four seed. They’re just two points back of San Jose for that fourth spot and home field advantage in the first round. We’ll take them to use the home field advantage they have on Sunday at BMO Stadium and take care of the Galaxy, as the visitors have only won twice in this building since 2018 in 13 tries. Pairing those two together gives us a nice plus-money parlay.

Austin FC

ML +180

Bias warning: We’ve stayed away from backing our favorite team for a number of weeks now, even going against them (successfully) in that time. But the Verde and Black are in a must win spot tonight to keep their slim wild card hopes alive. They’re on the road to take on Wooden Spoon favorites Sporting KC, who defeated Austin when the two teams met back in May. We’re backing Austin at nearly two-to-one to bring home three points for (probably) the final time this season.
