We’ve reached Decision Day with a chance to maintain our profitable season at the books. Let’s finish strong.
The official league injury report for Saturday’s games came out Friday afternoon, let’s dive into the Week 35 picks.
Pick’Em Entry of the week
Unfortunately, PrizePicks has apparently joined Underdog Fantasy in not offering MLS props for the second straight week, forcing us to end the pick’em journey for the 2026 season in the red.

Week 35 Picks
Chicago Fire
ML -120
We’ve got a four pack of Decision Day picks all chasing the motivation of teams still fighting for playoff positioning or outright postseason berths. The lone option from the Eastern Conference’s early window is Chicago, who are at home playing host to the Columbus Crew. The Fire need to win this match to lock up home field advantage in the first round of the playoffs. The Crew have been on fire in league play, winning five straight MLS matches, but Chicago has also found their footing of late, including a 4-2 road win over a desperate Colorado Rapids team last Saturday. Columbus has also been a poor road team over the course of the season, earning fewer road points than teams like eliminated sides Austin FC and Atlanta United. We’ll take the Fire to earn their tenth home win of the season and secure home field advantage in the first round.
LA Galaxy
ML +295
The Western Conference is much more intriguing from a Decision Day drama standpoint. The Galaxy are in control of their own destiny on Saturday. They can avoid the Wild Card game and clinch the seventh seed with a win over Real Salt Lake on the road. RSL has been on a good run of form, with three wins in their last four, and will also see the return of DP winger Morgan Guilavogui from suspension. But two of those three wins for Salt Lake have come against the Western Conference’s two worst teams in SKC and Austin FC. The Galaxy aren’t world beaters, if they were they’d have a postseason spot locked up well before today. But they do have a ton of attacking talent and have a clean injury report aside from aging centerback Maya Yoshida. At nearly three-to-one, we’ll take the Galaxy to win in the elevation of the Rocky Mountains.
Portland Timbers
ML -140 (2U)
It’s surprising to see the Timbers money line so low in a spot where they should so clearly be big favorites. This line has actually moved slightly in Austin FC’s direction since Thursday night, which has us wondering if the Verde and Black are going to reverse course from their bare bones starting XI last weekend and throw some of their DPs back into the team. Even if they do so, it’s going to be a half-full Austin crowd at best cheering on a team with nothing to play for. Portland on the other hand has to win to guarantee a postseason spot or else they need help from other results. The Timbers have won three straight and we’re going to back them to continue that streak tonight with a two-unit hammer.
Colorado rapids
ML +255
Similar to the Galaxy, the Rapids are in a win-and-in scenario in Frisco tonight. The home side do have some motivation to get a result here to make sure the San Jose Earthquakes can’t catch them for the two seed, but Colorado is clearly the more desperate side with their season on the brink. We’ll back them to get the job done at plus money.
