Week 4 MLS Picks
Not much to say headed into Week 4 outside of addressing the goal scorer picks! We’re now an incredible 0/34 on those in 2026, which is completely wrecking any positivity we should be feeling about the profits earned from the pick’em parlays and other picks at the books. Does the destructive goalless streak continue? You’ll have to keep reading and watch the games this weekend to find out.
The official league injury report for Saturday’s games came out Friday afternoon, let’s dive into the Week 4 picks.
Pick’Em Entry of the week
Each match week, we’ll have a pick’em entry for you to tail if your heart desires. This week we’re playing on Underdog Fantasy. If you want to play along with us at Underdog, you can sign up today using this link. Let’s get to the board and build a winner!keep
With CONCACAF Champions Cup in full swing, we’ve got to be a little careful this week. One of those teams with midweek fixtures sandwiching their MLS match is Inter Miami, who played Nashville SC to a scoreless draw on the road on Wednesday. Now they’ll travel to Charlotte to take on “The Crown” on Saturday night. We rarely attack a line with a 0.81x multiplier, but with our somewhat surprising third leg of this entry and the boost token in our accounts on Underdog, it makes sense to lean into the most dangerous offensive team in MLS going up against a shaky Charlotte back line. Even though we should expect some rotation to begin this game, Miami are still -155 at the books to record two or more goals. Remember, this is a team that did so in 27 of 40 MLS matches last season (playoffs included), averaging 2.38 goals per game. They’ve also gone over this number in two of their three league games in 2026.
Then we go to Houston where the Dynamo are hosting Portland Timbers. We’ve already targeted Kristoffer Velde and his shots attempted prop this season and for good reason. Velde has averaged 3.82 shot attempts per 90 in his 920 MLS minutes since arriving last summer. He was over in six of ten games last season when playing 70 or more minutes and has gone over this number in two of three in 2026. If Antony, who is listed questionable, misses this game it should open up even more opportunities for Velde to dominate the chances in the Timbers attack.
If you’re reading this then you’re no stranger to our love for picking on Sporting Kansas City goal keeper John Pulskamp. For the first time, we’re going to ride with Pulskamp instead of going against him. SKC are on the road taking on LA Galaxy tonight, a spot where we’d typically be searching for some way to target the talented Los Angeles offense. But the two biggest pieces of the Galaxy attack will be missing on Saturday. Joseph Paintsil has a thigh injury and Gabriel Pec is suspended due to his red card received against Colorado last week. Outside of a six minute stretch against Charlotte two weeks back that saw LA score all three of their goals in that game, the team has just two goals in the other 274 MLS minutes played in 2026. That, the pair of DP winger absences and the 1.36x multiplier is enough for us to take the shot on Pulskamp allowing fewer than two goals this weekend.
Using the standard payout selection (and the 40% profit boost token dropped in users accounts on Friday) on Underdog, this 3-pick entry will payout a prize of 9.02x your entry fee if successful.
We’ve added some additional plays that can be substituted in place of the props given above if you miss lock for one of those games, want to make additional entries or one of the given options doesn’t start. The additional plays this week are listed in order of preference and we’re fine using these props in any entry.
James Pantemis O 1.5 goals allowed (1.03x)
Jayden Nelson O 1.5 shots attempted (1.03x)
Michael Collodi U 0.5 1H goals allowed
Brad Stuver U 0.5 1H goals allowed

Week 4 Picks
Inter Miami
ML +110
As we discussed above, we’re expecting some rotation from Inter Miami to begin this match due to CCC. But any time we can get this team at plus money we’re usually going to take it. The lone name on the injury report for Miami is center back Maxiliano Falcon, but they’ve still got Micael to keep the back line organized and the boost of a likely debut for former EPL and La Liga left back Sergio Reguilon. The defense for Charlotte has been suspect enough for us to feel more than comfortable backing Messi and Friends once again.
Houston Dynamo
ML +105
Fairly simple play here. The Orange Team host the Timbers on Saturday night and that has historically been good news for the Dynamo. Dating back to 2011, Portland has won just one of 15 all-time meetings in Houston, including losses in three straight. The Dynamo will be without Antonio Carlos and Augustin Bouzat due to their red card suspensions, but Portland is also likely to be shorthanded, with two important questionable tags being placed on Antony and Cole Bassett. Always gross to back our biggest rivals to win, but Houston at home for slightly plus money feels solid.
LA Galaxy vs Sporting KC
U 3.5 -120
Similar thinking to our John Pulskamp explanation above with this pick. Without Pec and Paintsil, the Galaxy attack should be less lethal than normal in this match. Then on the other side it’s still Sporting KC who, despite an impressive 2-2 home draw against Columbus Crew in Week 2, have managed just that single point on the young season. They’ve been blanked in their other two matches in 2026. We’ll take the under here considering the minimal juice attached.
Minnesota United
Double Chance +160
We won’t see the injury report for this Sunday afternoon affair until Saturday evening, so make sure to check in there when we’ve got it. But assuming nothing crazy pops up, the Loons on the double chance is tasty. The Whitecaps are another CCC team that has midweek games on either side of this regular season match, while Minnesota has no such congestion. Vancouver is still a top tier team, especially at home, but the historical head-to-head is promising for the visitors. Minnesota has gotten a result in Vancouver in five of their last seven trips to BC Place. We’ll back them to do so again on Sunday.
